About Stephanie:

Stephanie is the daughter of CBS 11 and TXA 21 President and General Manager Steve Mauldin. Diagnosed with autism at age 2, Stephanie is a loving, sociable 18-year-old, who both speaks and signs.

Since the first grade, Stephanie has attended public school in Florida with the help of a one-on-one aide. She has also benefited from a wide range of therapies, including behavior modification, sensory training, and speech therapy.

Stephanie especially enjoys therapeutic horseback riding, and has been a two-time camper at Equest. However, Stephanie’s favorite pastime is swimming. She learned to swim at age 6, and has loved the water ever since! She also likes shopping with Mommy, bowling, watching movies and spending time with her friends and family. She has three older brothers who have always been loving and helpful.
